摘要: The infrastructure systems at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach comprise largest port complex within United States, processing over forty percent nation's container traffic. Security this is critical to regional national economy. University Southern California's National Center for Risk Economic Analysis Terrorism Events, a Department Homeland Excellence, has continued development Port Assessment Resource Management (PortSec) system address key challenge facing all complexes - simultaneously increasing security, maximizing business throughput, minimizing environmental impact. PortSec continues focus on risk assessment from real-time intelligence sources tactical operations. In paper, ongoing advancements PortSec, including ability interface with Unified Incident Command Decision Support (UICDS) system, an economic impact model, updates POLA/LB transportation model are reported.
