摘要: The proliferative capacity of bone marrow cells from thymus-deprived nude mice was investigated in lethally irradiated recipients. Although the colony-forming these found to be similar that normal littermates, a reduction number nucleated observed mice. Moreover when radioprotective effect such studied, it 5 x 105 or 2 106 were less effective restoring hemopoiesis and establishing permanent chimerism than amounts controls. In addition, animals surviving after injection have lower immune responses SRBC chimeras. possibility mortality recipients injected with is due presence latent infective agent some inhibitory factor hematopoiesis shown improbable. Alternatively suggested suffer an intrinsic defect their (CFUs).
