摘要: Abstract Odour compounds in water may originate from industrial and municipal sewage effluents or biological activities of algae heterotrophic micro-organisms. The relative importance these two sources odour substances is discussed for the situation Netherlands. A number organic that have been proved to be responsible problems effluent water, river drinking are presented. Different types chlorinated shown relation offensive odour. Some recommendations tentative maximum allowable concentrations effluents, surface waters given.
