Bilateral hydrosalpinx in a mare - a case report

摘要: During a research visit for tissue collection at an abattoir located in Pelotas, Brazil, one female genital tract showed both enlarged oviducts. The reproductive was collected and analyzed. Occluded uterine tubes increase the organ volume due to large amount of fluid lumen were macroscopic findings. Three samples, corresponding isthmus, ampulla infundibulum from each tube sample endometrium collected. Samples fixed Bouin's solution processed light microscopy. Microscopically decrease number folds also observed, mainly infundibulum. epithelial lining ranged ciliated simple squamous. Inflammatory cells observed between lamina propria. Hydrosalpinx is difficult diagnose can be cause infertility mare.
