摘要: Here we summarise the present status of experimental programme Oxford electron beam ion trap. Most notably this research has recently culminated in successful measurement 2s1/2–2p3/2 transition hydrogenlike nitrogen by a laser resonance method. We also introduce preliminary results from some computational investigations both transport and trapped ensemble. In particular, show that contribution magnetic field to confinement potentially measurable effect on phase space distribution.
