摘要: Abstract Expressions are derived for certain rheological properties, such as the stress vs strain relationship, yield stress, and shear modulus, of monodisperse foams highly concentrated emulsions model infinitely long cylindrical drops (or bubbles). The variables considered volume fraction dispersed phase, drop radius, interfacial tension, thickness films separating adjacent drops, films' associated contact angle. Both modulus proportional to tension inversely radius. increases sharply with increasing fraction, while varies its square root. effect a finite angle, θ, is decrease and, in most cases, increase stress. Finally, film always both modulus. implications these results real discussed.
