Patterns of occupational segregation by gender in the hospitality industry

摘要: Abstract This paper investigates the different patterns of occupational gender segregation in hospitality industry Andalusia. The methodology is based on curve and measures. results show that cleaning jobs, customer service jobs with less responsibility area administration are dominated by women, whereas maintenance, a high level areas kitchen, restoration, men. Occupational increases as age workers size establishment increase, but decreases education common among training contracts, it greater part-time seasonal workers. Horizontal more marked than vertical hotel industry, horizontal similar restaurants. Finally, establishment, increases.
