摘要: EVIDENCE that from time to the apocrine sweat glands of Welsh Mountain sheep discharge their contents synchronously over a large area fleece-covered skin has emerged observation thermocouples attached anywhere beneath fleece simultaneously register an occasional and brief rise in temperature which frequently exceeds both ambient deep body as measured by thermocouple implanted within brachio-cephalic trunk1 (Fig. 1).
