摘要: Human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) is a β herpes virus with double stranded DNA genome of 240kbp. The prevalent and establishes latent infection in most adults. HCMV an opportunistic pathogen for patients impaired cellular immunity. pneumonia common presentation disease immunocompromised patients. incidence pneumonitis can be as high 90% lung transplant recipients. This paper takes fresh look at the challenging perspectives molecular, immunologic, cellular, diagnostic, clinical, therapeutic characteristics future targets development antiviral strategies.
