摘要: Herpesviruses such as EBV, HSV, and human herpes virus-6 (HHV-6) have a marked tropism for cells of the immune system therefore infection by these viruses may result in alterations functions, leading at times to state immunosuppression. We report results comparative study which we found that HSV-1, HHV-6 act differentially on with regard their effect synthesis IL-1 beta, IL-6, TNF-alpha, i.e., three immunoregulatory cytokines mainly secreted activated monocytes/macrophages. Using polymerase chain reaction technique, analyses mRNA levels each monokines after viral indicated exerted herpesviruses cytokine PBMC was detectable transcriptional level. Different amounts beta protein were detected infected cultures, being strongest up-regulatory among herpesviruses. Spontaneous releases IL-6 TNF-alpha reduced respectively. In comparison EBV HHV-6, HSV-1 proved be weak monokine enhancer. Results coinfection studies virus-induced suppressive effects are dominant. fact, inhibited even presence strong up-regulator synthesis. Similarly, unable stimulate production HHV-6. Viral structural component(s) appeared responsible up-regulation both HSV-1. Taken together, our observations illustrate can selectively regulate thereby disturbing homeostasis; this favor pathogenic events, including reactivation and/or spread other infectious agents within host.
