摘要: Abstract Objective: To determine whether singleton IVF pregnancies carry adverse maternal or fetal outcome when compared with naturally conceived gestations. Design: An analysis of the obstetric in comparison matched, controls. Setting: In vitro fertilization unit and service at a tertiary medical center. Patient(s): Two hundred sixty consecutive 260 controls matched 1:1 for age, parity, ethnic origin, location date delivery. Intervention(s): fertilization-ET. Main Outcome Measure(s): The rate antenatal complications, nonvertex presentation, cesarean section, preterm labor, low birth weight, small very gestational neonatal intensive care admissions, perinatal mortality. Result(s): rates most complications were similar both groups. Urinary tract infection was only complication diagnosed significantly more frequently after (7.3% versus 1.2%); however, severe urinary necessitating hospitalization similar. incidence presentation also section higher among patients (41.9% 15.5%). mortality comparable. Conclusion(s): When controlling delivery, do not an increased risk prematurity, complications. Still, these are associated high sections.
