摘要: Abstract To determine the influence of peripheral parenteral nutrition (PPN) on incidence phlebitis and effect simultaneous infusion lipid emulsion, 68 surgical patients were assigned randomly to 3 groups: (1) amino-acid 4% solution dextrose 8% (AA + DX) Intralipid® (IL) 10% in ratio 1.5:1 (2) AA DX IL 20% 3:1 (3) alone. Group 4 (control group) consisted 25 receiving maintenance solutions iso-osmotic drugs. No filters used. The cannulae studied for 72 hours cannula sites evaluated daily phlebitis. Mean age was 52.3 ± 17.7 years, with a similar sex groups. One hundred twenty-five studied. At h, following cumulated rates recorded: 22% 1 (712 mOsm/L), 48% 2 (802.5 44% (920 mOsm/L) 26% (260–314 mOsm/L). groups (control) throughout study. Both Groups had higher days (II: p
