摘要: Abstract The finite element method is used to study the postbuckling response of symmetric square laminates with a central cutout under uniaxial compression. formulation based on Mindlin's plate theory and von Karman's assumptions incorporate geometric nonlinearity. governing equations are solved using Newton–Raphson method. For purpose analysis, circular elliptical cutouts considered view examine effect shape, size alignment buckling first-ply failure loads laminates. It observed that these parameters have substantial influence reserve strength which may posses beyond buckling.
