摘要: BACKGROUND Psychic vulnerability has been associated with a number of physical symptoms and diseases. This study was designed to estimate the incidence cancer in random sample persons general Danish population relation personality characteristic measured by Test Psychic Vulnerability. METHODS The authors examined cohort 5136 randomly sampled age > 25 years living Copenhagen County, Denmark. The responses questionnaires results examinations, including Vulnerability, were collected during 1982–1984 1991–1992. observed numbers cancers compared that would have expected if members had experienced same risk as County. Regression analyses performed Cox proportional hazards model adjust for well-known factors cancer. RESULTS A total 403 observed, 412.02 expected, yielding standardized ratio 0.98 (95% confidence interval [95% CI], 0.88–1.19). did not observe significant increase site specific cancers. influenced type multivariate analysis (hazards ratio, 1.16; 95% CI, 0.85–1.57). CONCLUSIONS The found no increased among psychically vulnerable nonvulnerable persons; however, indicate behavior certain life-style may be determined personality, which, turn, determine cancer.
