摘要: Carbon isotope discrimination (Δ) was measured in the field on 10 cultivars of common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.). There substantial variation (more than 2‰) leaf Δ values and these differences were maintained between vegetative reproductive developmental stages. These lines also exhibited conductance to water vapor, again across The positively correlated with values, whether as total or individual conductances either upper lower surfaces. observed not associated stomatal density. small among their Kjeldahl nitrogen contents, which is interpreted indicating that photosynthetic capacity similar. Thus, because correlated, data suggested there may have been extent stomata limited gas exchange rates.
