摘要: There is a gap in evidence regarding how research trial closure processes are managed to ensure continuity of HIV care for positive participants following within low income settings. This aimed establish staff Uganda understood and practised post-trial participants. A grounded theory study was conducted using in-depth individual interviews focus group discussions with 22 from 3 different trials Uganda, 2014-2015. The results indicated that researchers engaged three main activities support participants, including; (i) preparing care, which included instituting guidelines, planning necessary resources, informing about care; (ii) facilitating during exit by engaging psychological practical activities, (iii) providing follow up after exit, respond the needs often arose exit. established need holistic approach post-trial-care engage multiple stakeholders including ethics authorities.
