摘要: The prognosis of patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) is usually favorable; however, a subset can develop local recurrence or distant metastases. aim this study was to evaluate the prognostic factors influencing and survival rate in 950 PTC patients. From 1990 2005, consecutive affected by were operated on at our Department. We analyzed role following parameters: gender, age initial treatment, extent surgery, node dissection, tumor size, metastases, stage, 131-I therapy. Seventy-nine (8.3%) developed locoregional metastases after an average follow-up 7.8 years (range 2–17 years); particular observed 25 cases 54 cases. global 10- 15-year rates 91.38% 88.69%, respectively. At univariate analysis, all variables significantly correlated (P = .001) except gender (P = .3); moreover, (P = .2), dissection (P = .5), (P = .06) not significant survival. multivariate analysis first T4, M+, stage IV, therapy resulted be independent (P < .001). Our data, disagreement other staging systems, suggest that does play both Moreover, statistically factor analyses.
