摘要: Recent work has emphasized development of full-range water-retention functions that are applicable under both wet and dry soil conditions, but evaluation such in numerical modeling been limited. Here we show simulations using the Rossi-Nimmo (RN) function compared favorably with those common Brooks-Corey RN can improve prediction water potentials near-surface soil, particularly conditions. Simulations also improved temperatures throughout profile. Such improvements could be important for calculations liquid vapor flow soils deep unsaturated zones arid semiarid regions.
