摘要: One of the most contentious issues in medical and legal practice is how to reliably assess mental competence individuals who consent or refuse psychiatric treatment. Current legislation does not provide clear definitions what constitutes incompetence make a treatment decision. As preliminary attempt operationalize concept competency, we have developed 15 item questionnaire. The present study reports on psychometric properties instrument. Test-retest interrater reliability results were good. instrument was internally consistent discriminated between found competent incompetent by treating physician.
