摘要: To maintain biodiversity in managed forests we must understand how forestry affects various organisms across a wide range of spatial and temporal scales. We compared landscape structure, forest species richness abundance epiphytic macrolichens three pairs natural boreal landscapes. Study landscapes (2500 ha) were located within adjacent to the largest reserves Sweden (Reivo, Muddus, Jelka). The structural heterogeneity was higher whereas within-stand Species at stand level (sample plot) 23% but there no difference level. Most (86%) common more frequent Lichen (estimated by lichen litter) two times than 5.6 2.7 kg ha -1 (pooled data), respectively. Both negatively related cutting (number basal area cut stumps) positively variables (stand age, stem density area). Lichen-rich stands numerous covered smaller isolated This may turn have important consequences for dispersal propagules second-growth forests. In conclusion, results suggest that effects on epiphyte diversity are strongly scale or landscape). enhance increase whole
