摘要: Abstract We have developed an esophageal probe with a precision micromanipulator and transversely oriented 32 element ultrasonic array which operates at 3.5 MHz. The allows us to obtain multiple two-dimensional images of the heart known angular relationships between them over series cardiac cycles. Our ultimate purpose is acquire for left ventricular volume estimation three-dimensional reconstruction method. Technical details design are given. In vitro tests shown that imaging plane can be angulated within 1.5° root mean square error. vivo results dogs demonstrated its ability multiplanar short axis heart.
