摘要: Abstract Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the occurrence skin complications following mechanochemical ablation (MOCA) with ClariVein device for incompetent great saphenous veins (GSVs) and compare results in terms target vein characteristics, particularly presence an epifascial GSV tributary. Methods A single-center, retrospective performed. We reviewed a total 33 limbs 32 patients insufficiency who underwent MOCA from December 2017 February 2020. were divided into two groups: group, comprising 11 patients, non-epifascial 22 21 patients. Patients postoperative follow ups at 1 week 1, 3, 6 12 months. Skin complication counts scores on 4-point scale recorded. Results Regarding baseline group showed significantly lower depth distal thigh region compared (2.64 ± 0.5 vs. 7.05 2.57 mm, p Conclusion Endovenous treatment can be performed safely. However, caution should exercised when tributary is treated during procedure because its predilection hyperpigmentation.
