摘要: The Paleolithic diet has been studied in the scope of prevention and control chronic noncommunicable diseases (CNCD). objective this study was to analyze influence on CNCD humans, specifically anthropometric markers, through a systematic review with meta-analysis. What is effect parameters (weight, body mass index waist circumference) compared other diets based recommendations adults? We included only randomized studies humans that used Diet published Portuguese, English or Spanish. search period until March 2019, LILACS, PubMed, Scielo, Science Direct, Medline, Web Scopus databases. abstracts were evaluated by two researchers. found 1224 articles, which 24 selected 11 dietary use weight, circumference evaluated. summary showed loss − 3.52 kg mean weight (CI 95%: − 5.26; − 1.79; p < 0,001; I2 = 24%) people who adopted recommendations. analysis positive association adopting relation loss. significant circumference. may assist controlling management diseases. However, more clinical larger populations duration are necessary prove health benefits. CRD42015027849 .
