摘要: Abstract This experimental study was carried out to investigate the mechanical properties of self-compacting mortars (SCMs) containing binary and ternary mixtures silica fume (SF) fly ash (FA) immersed in sea water 10% by weight magnesium sulfate (MgSO 4 ) solution. 14 series mortar specimens including control mixture were prepared replacing Portland cement with 10%, 20% 30% C class 6%, 9%, 12% 15% (SF). Ternary mixes produced FA SF replacement 6% 9% SF. A total 182 samples 40 × 40 × 160 mm cured at 3, 28, 56 180 days solution 56, 90 observe SCMs behavior hardened conditions . Durability evaluated capillary absorption (sorptivity porosity tests). Mini slump flow diameter, viscosity mini V-funnel time tests performed assess fresh The results showed that all exposed MgSO have increasing compressive tensile strength up 90 days then tend decrease age 180 days. best resistance terms strength. Porosity blended 28 days higher values than lowest porosity. solution, some deterioration such as crack formation due surface softening observed.
