摘要: The goal of fracture treatment is to obtain union, while restoring normal anatomy and function. With operative management, metallic alloys are commonly used fabricate devices for both internal external fixation. An interaction biocompatibility, mechanical requirements, corrosion resistance a fixation device required facilitate successful healing. Depending on the injury number patient factors, variety can be stabilize fracture, including plates, screws, intramedullary devices, fixators. This chapter discusses healing process basic requirements biomaterials in devices.
