摘要: Aims We aimed to investigate a novel optical coherence tomography (OCT) finding of outer retinal hyperreflective deposits (ORYDs) in patients with naive diabetic macular oedema (DMO) seen after small gauge pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) internal limiting membrane (ILM) peeling. Furthermore, we evaluated the predictive value ORYD for visual outcome over 24 months follow-up. Methods Retrospective cohort study including 111 eyes from DMO treated by PPV and ILM peeling follow-up months. OCT scans were analysed presence 1 week 1, 6, 12, 18 surgery. Change baseline best-corrected acuity (BCVA) central subfoveal thickness (CST) surgery measured period. Presence was correlated characteristics BCVA Results Hundred eleven included (mean age 67.5±14.8 years). identified plexiform layer as 92 (82.8%) 7 days but it not present before There significant reduction ORYD. After disappeared all cases (p Conclusions describe feature early postoperative phase majority DMO, disappearing course. These might be result sudden desinflammation could shed new light on process resolution operative intervention.
