Community perception of child drowning in South India: a qualitative study

摘要: Abstract Background: World-wide, drowning is one of the leading causes death in children between 1 and 12 years age, especially low- middle-income countries. Aim: To assess community's perceptions common children, level awareness as a major cause reasons for high rate drowning, to discuss preventive measures. Method: Five focus group discussions were conducted with representatives from five different categories people community.
