Evidence for partial sympathetic cardiac reinnervation following cardiac transplantation.

摘要: Heart transplantation causes total cardiac denervation. Measurements of plasma concentrations the main presynaptic noradrenal metabolite, dihydroxyphenylglycol (DOPEG, exclusively neuronal in origin), were used to examine possibility sympathetic reinnervation transplanted human heart. We determined arterial and coronary-venous DOPEG 15 heart transplant recipients (28 - 68 years age at time with ageing from 0.5 4 investigation) nine control patients (45-75 age). In each concentration was higher coronary venous than (mean arteriovenous increment: 60 ± 10 %; P < 0.001)
