摘要: Abstract Osteoarthritis (OA) results in the destruction and breakdown of articular cartilage matrix. Breakdown proteoglycan component generation constituent fragments that can be detected blood, synovial fluid or urine. Non-collagenous, non-proteoglycan components also following their release as a result turnover disease. OA alters circulating profile metabolites body. Metabolomic strategies have been used to distinguish populations with from normal by creation metabolomic ‘fingerprint’ attributable This paper is second part two-part review describes some techniques measure concentrations these ‘non-collagenous’ biomarkers, how application measurements assists study joint Collagen-based biomarkers were discussed one.
