摘要: Microstructures developed in commercial 17-4 PH precipitation-hardened stainless steel after different heat treatments have been studied. The martensite formed this alloy has found to be of a lath morphology having dislocated substructure. Transmission electron microscopy studies revealed the formation copper-rich phase samples aged at temperatures below 550°C. However, higher temperatures, addition these precipitates, austenite reversion noticed, primarily boundaries. process accompanied by sharp decrease hardness alloy. morphologies transformation products and crystallography discussed.
