摘要: Fixed speed wind turbine generator system that uses induction (IG) has the stability problem similar to step-out phenomenon of a synchronous during grid fault. On other hand, doubly fed (DFIG) can control its real and reactive powers independently while being operated in variable mode. This paper proposes new strategy using DFIGs for stabilizing farms composed IGs, without incorporating additional FACTS devices. A scheme limiting rotor current fault was proposed. Simulation analysis by PSCAD/EMTDC shows effectively stabilize IGs hence entire through proposed providing sufficient power system.
