摘要: Local scour around a bridge pier (cylinder) is problem of much concern to hydraulic engineers. This complex phenomenon resulting from the interaction three-dimensional turbulent flow field cylinder and mobile channel bed (see Fig. 1). In vicinity cylinder, scouring consequence. this paper, held in an established (equilibrium) hole experimentally investigated. An acoustic-Doppler velocityprofiler (ADVP) was used measure instantaneously three components velocities vertical symmetry (stagnation) plane before after cylinder. The vorticity calculated.
