摘要: Rent Control in Britain began the First World War and has lasted, on off, most of this century. There been almost no new building for private rent since 1939. The rented sector is small (8%), marginalized, delapidated, unattractive. British Government enacting legislation to reform all areas housing. Rents lettings will be freely agreed (i.e., at market levels) between landlord tenant. But tenant security tenure, subject renegotiating a rent. absence any important tax incentives or other subsidy was an obstacle revival even with rents. Business Expansion Scheme proposal March 1988 budget created considerable interest among investors.
