摘要: Abstract The interaction of hydrogen with an Mg–Al alloy pre-exposed to air have been studied in situ time resolved X-ray powder diffraction. Phase fractions as a function are derived from series consecutive diffraction patterns allowing kinetic analysis. apparent activation energy for dehydrogenation the is found be 160 kJ/mol. This not significantly higher than pure and fully activated Mg. It suggested that addition Al improves resistance towards oxygen contamination.
