摘要: Vitamin D metabolites in serum were analysed 20 patients with generalized scleroderma. The concentration of 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin was normal, however, significantly lower concentrations (p less than 0.05) found 7 cutaneous calcinosis comparison 13 no calcinosis. Concentrations 25-hydroxyvitamin D, 24-25-dihydroxyvitamin and vitamin D-binding protein (Gc globulin) all within the normal range. 24,25-dihydroxy-vitamin level correlated duration disease (r = 0.4453, p 0.05), tended to correlate 0.3016, NS). study strongly indicates that synthesis, intestinal absorption hepatic hydroxylation are not deficient A relative but specific decrease renal i.e. active hormone, as progresses occurs, is suspected.
