摘要: To examine how resource distributions affect the movement behaviors of fed and food-deprived Eleodes extricata Say darkling beetles (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae), we experimentally manipulated dispersion food to create clumped, random, uniform in an otherwise homogeneous 25-m2 experimental field landscape. Quantitative measures tortuosity, net linear displacement, overall path length, velocity beetle pathways showed that generally moved more slowly over shorter distances than did beetles. This effect was mediated by spatial distribution food, however; distributed randomly landscape evoked tortuous paths larger distances. The foraging movements were most different from those individuals treatments with resources. These results show influence structure on depends not only arrangement pattern but also function plays. Thus, 'spatial structure' is defined physical characteristics used animals.
