摘要: We have conducted investigations of the energy transfer dynamics atomic oxygen and argon scattering from hydrocarbon fluorocarbon surfaces. In light these results, we appraise applicability value a kinematic model, which views gas-surface interaction as gas-phase-like collision between an incident atom or molecule localized region surface with effective mass. applied this model to interpret mass when atoms strike two different surfaces under identical bombardment conditions. To end, collected new data, re-examined existing data sets both molecular-beam experiments molecular simulations. seek identify trends that could lead robust general understanding processes induced by collisions gas-phase species liquid semi-solid
