摘要: Resumen Habitualmente, el diagnostico de hipertension y las decisiones clinicas para su tratamiento se basan en un numero limitado valores presion arterial (PA) obtenidos la consulta clinica. Sin embargo, correlacion entre nivel PA riesgo dano organos diana eventos cardiovasculares (CV) es mucho mayor monitorizacion ambulatoria (MAPA), tanto poblacion general como pacientes con diabetes. Ademas, numerosos estudios independientes han demostrado que media durante sueno mejor marcador CV clinica medias actividad o 24 h derivadas MAPA. La prevalencia patron circadiano alterado nocturna muy elevada diabetes, por lo estos control terapeutico son frecuentemente inadecuados ausencia valoracion a largo mediante Por todo ello, MAPA debe ser herramienta eleccion diabetes correcto establecer esquema mas adecuado permita elevada, podria redundar vez una reduccion significativa CV.
