Intentional binding coincides with explicit sense of agency

摘要: Sense of agency, a feeling generating actions and events by oneself, stems from action-outcome congruence. An implicit marker sense agency is intentional binding, which compression subjective temporal interval between action outcome. We investigated relationships binding explicit agency. Participants pressed key triggering auditory (Experiment 1) or visual outcome 2) that occurred after variable delays. In each trial, participants rated their over the estimated keypress-outcome interval. Results showed delays decreased ratings binding. There was inter-individual correlation sensitivities to delay (i.e., regression slope) rating in but not domain. Importantly, we found intra-individual correlations on trial-by-trial basis both modalities. These results suggest coincides with
