摘要: In this paper the application of X-ray computed tomography (CT) to measure material density distribution in pharmaceutical tablets is discussed. CT a non-destructive inspection technique which provides cross-sectional images different planes through component. The image values provide information on local attenuation coefficients. For particular and energy, approximately proportional density. Determination quantitative distributions requires consideration non-linear instrumental effects including scatter "beam hardening". Density maps manufactured under controlled conditions are presented. results discussed with reference properties within tablet design features.
