摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter assembles, orders, and systematizes findings from different parts of the world on body size infants children in relation to socioeconomic status. Socioeconomic comparisons are colligated for weight, stature, several somatic measures head, trunk, limbs. The ontogenetic span investigated extended birth age 9 years. More than 500 discussed. Primary attention was given comparing offspring parents at or near lower end continuum with upper continuum. 343 obtained differences this type were all direction paired means being higher class families. In 272 instances, a dependable difference terminal populations could be inferred p = .01.
