摘要: Appraises the turbulent development of Spanish economy over last fifty years and places current economic problems in their historical context. The author examines economic, political social inherited from Franco era evolution into present. book includes: * a detailed discussion under Franco, including boom 1960s followed by decline early 1970s; *an analysis decade crisis which only ended 1985; evaluation successes achieved Gonzalez government during second half 1980s; why, despite serious attempts to revitalize industrial sector, Spain still has one highest levels unemployment OECD.
