摘要: A monolithic integrated optical heterodyne receiver circuit formed on a single chip and process of its manufacture are disclosed. The essentially includes tunable local oscillator substrate for generating first light beam, waveguide coplanarly the adjacent to transmitting second top receiving an information-encoded coupler region sandwiched between waveguides mixing two beams, pair detectors mounted in electrical series with one another converting mixed beams radio frequency signal operating at intermediate frequency.
