摘要: To obtain the best estimates of average intraindividual biological variability (CVb) in concentrations total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein (LDLC), high-density (HDLC), and triglyceride serum lipids a person's blood, we evaluated results from 30 studies published 1970 to 1992. The usually more applicable random-effects model estimated an CVb 6.1% for TC, 7.4% HDLC, 9.5% LDLC, 22.6% triglyceride. Composite all by different models estimation ranged 6.0% 6.4% 6.2% 7.5% 7.0% 9.6% 22.4% 22.9% Two important factors influenced reported variation study subjects: (a) magnitude analytical method used (b) design characteristics study--primarily number subjects, sampling interval, measurements per subject. For found statistically significant positive correlation between mean both subjects variation. TC LDLC estimate as function features. patient specimens required reliable lipid are determined current
