摘要: Background The axial skeleton is one of the defining evolutionary landmarks vertebrates. How this structure develops and how it has evolved in different vertebrate lineages is, however, a matter debate. Vertebrae vertebral structures are derived from embryonic somites, although mechanisms development between lineages.
