摘要: The control of the digenetic trematode Fasciola gigantica has been major challenge in both cattle and small ruminants as there is a paucity an effective commercial vaccine. Thus, accurate identification prepatent diagnosis F. essential prerequisite for its successful prevention control. In present study, morphologically identified specimens isolated from liver bile ducts sheep (Ovis aries) were validated through molecular data. sequence analysis ITS2 our isolates showed high degree similarity with hepatica using BLAST function NCBI. phylogenetic close relationship previously described different countries. antigenic profile somatic E/S antigens revealed by SDS-PAGE immunoblotting sera naturally infected gigantica. By SDS-PAGE, 20 distinct bands crude fraction. Immunoblotting these proteins positive exhibited 8 sero-reactive ranging 14 to 97 kDa. Among 38 44 kDa quite specific diagnostic specificity sensitivity. fraction comprised 7 bands, analysis. 6 23 - 54 27 33 found be study concludes that protein can used immunodiagnostic purpose this economically important parasite, which may also entice further studies regarding their vaccine potential.
