摘要: Abstract The Chinook Trough is a trans-Pacific megatrend. By using heretofore unpublished bathymetry and geophysical data, the trend of megatrend has been determined from Juan de Fuca Ridge in Gulf Alaska to Izu-Bonin trench. feature passes through Emperor Fracture Zone, intersects Krusenstern Zone at Hess Rise, Seamounts, Mamua several unnamed NNW–SSE-trending fractures Shatskiy Rise. After an undetermined passage Nadeshda Basin, it another fracture zone, Kashima Nelson Guyot, ends as Uyeda Ridge. Instead being trough, herein called colinear Mendocino Clipperton Zones.
