摘要: A selective medium for the isolation of Staphylococcus hyicus, with potassium thiocyanate as substance and polysorbate 80 reaction elective marker, was developed. The organism could be identified during routine examination samples derived from pigs, using 2 relatively simple tests: slide coagulase (clumping factor) deoxyribonuclease plate reaction. S hyicus isolated 54% 684 collected nares, external ears, skin covering nose pigs not affected by exudative epidermatitis. Isolates these animals did appear to differ in pathogenic potentials those obtained lesions.
