摘要: Self and identity may be two of the most popular concepts in social psychology. Nearly every area psychology touches on some aspect a person's self or identity, group's identity. The cursory glance at library's card catalog bookstore's holdings show that have enormous popularity among academic researchers general public. prominence research sociology traces first to James's (1890) original incisive treatment followed by early important efforts sociologists (Cooley, 1902; Thomas & Znaniecki, 1918) philosophers (i.e., Mead, 1934).
