摘要: Introduction: Mucormycosis is a rare and invasive fungal infection with high mortality that usually affects immunocompromised patients. The major route of inhalation. An extensive necrotic ulcer in the mouth could be indicative invasion. Case report: A 67-year-old woman was visited department Oral Medicine Hamadan dental school perforation progressive palate from 2 month ago. patient had history swelling face proptosis right eye five months Lab tests revealed an uncontrolled diabetes mellitus. Biopsy carried out under clinical diagnosis deep final mucormycosis. Conclusion: Early detection mucormycosis increase survival rate. Therefore, dentists can play important role primary lesions. Systemic diseases also diagnosed referred for treatment by dentists.
